We believe in a joyful experiential learning system wherein, each child is encouraged to participate wholeheartedly! At Shivam Convent, we leave no stone unturned to offer multitudes of opportunities to our children; it is for them to make the most of it. Children should be motivated to grab every opportunity that comes their way which would not only help in their holistic growth but also strengthen their belief in teamwork, which is important in this fast-paced world. They need to understand the importance of emotional balance, critical thinking, and most importantly accepting failure graciously! It is our strife to endow them with all these qualities and more.
We believe in empowering our children in such a manner that they act as representatives of a meaningful and value-based society! Our pedagogy which is holistic and comprehensive complements this. The Director
Education presents the truth of life in a beautiful way for the well being of human race. The truth of life is imparted to students as the essence of knowledge. The real purpose of education is to create better human beings, Aspiring to become better, must be the greatest –motto of a student. It is equally important for the teachers to put their tireless efforts in the right direction. To make a child intelligent is comparatively easy but to make him conscious about human values and moral ethics is rather difficult.Originality and a feeling of one’s own dignity are achieved only through hard work. Hard work has no substitute. Only those who work hard, succeed. A student can never come out with flying colours unless he or she has really worked hard throughout the year. Burning midnight-oil paves the path of success. It never passes into nothingness. According to Albert Schweitzer “If a person loves what he is doing, he will be successful.”
Academic Incharge
Learning is the process of constantly updating in an ever changing world. The first five years experience the most rapid changes of life and are critical in a child's development. Children develop rapidly during this time; physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. Also, the earliest years of a child’s life are a key to predicting ultimate success in their school and personal life. The period from the age of three years until the beginning of Class 1 in a mainstream school is called the Foundation Stage of learning. All children should be given the opportunity to experience the very best possible start to their education.
Learning at our school is based on the fundamental principles of life; teaching the children to be courageous, confident, disciplined, responsible and loyal. Education at our school provides a foundation for a lifetime of learning and is great fun too.We try to provide the best possible environment for healthy development of young children by providing a carefully planned and structured environment in which the child grows and learns in a natural way. “Focus on the journey, not the destination.
